Rosie went through things such as her camera settings, how she posed the couple, thinking about a variety of angles to take etc... but we were pretty much left to our own devices and if we needed any help or had questions she was always around to ask, which is personally what I prefer.
The day was amazing value for money, especially if you consider the cost of a dress, venue hire, suit, props it would cost you the same amount if not more, and you get to make new friends and get some help and advice whilst shooting!
If you're contemplating going on one of Rosie's workshops I would honestly say you won't be disappointed!
